Today my friend (who is just getting into anime) asked me for recommendations.

I gave him a short list- it made me remember some of the very first animes I ever watched and all of the animes I wished I had watched sooner.

So I ask the Dollars a question:
What are some of the animes you wished you had watched sooner rather than later? Its always a bit frustrating when you finally watch an anime that has been around for a long time- you never really thought to watch because no one seems to talk about it anymore.

For example: I danced around watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for about a year, simply because i no one talked about it anymore. When curiosity finally got the best of me I checked it out and fell in love. Other animes I wished I had watched earlier include- Trigun, Angel Beats, Samurai Champloo, and Eden of the East.
