The Spring 2015 anime will be set 6 years after the end of the original series, and 3 years after Digimon Adventure 02. The newly announced anime will be produced by Toei Animation (Sailor Moon Crystal, One Piece )and follow 17 year old Tai who is currently in high school with Agumon.

Wasn't initially as excited for this as most people since I only thought the original series was okay and Tamers was where Digimon really shined, but holy cow, Atsuya Uki's doing the character designs? Yeah okay, count me on board the hype train.

Cautiously excited. I loved the heck out of the first two seasons when I was a kid but that was a long time ago. And Toei's Sailor Moon Crystal hasn't been getting very good reviews so...I hope this goes better.

I never watched the original Digimon series, I was more of a pokemon fan, but the art for this looks really cool so I will definitely watch it this time around! :)
