Shigatsu wa kimi no uso is an ongoing anime that has a seemingly interesting plot that had made myself in a state of my own so called "Anime fever" where I would watch an anime over and over again from the first episode to my last downloaded episode of the anime.

Its story revolves on Arima Kousie who was a piano prodigy when he was young and dominated all of the competitions regarding in playing the piano and all of the child musician knew his name. But after screwing up a piano recital, he no longer played the piano and this is because of one cliched reason as the character also said: He could no longer hear the sound of his playing, He explained it as like playing in the deep abyss of the ocean, where all the sounds seemed numb, all the notes would be far from his reach as he focused more and get immeresed by his playing.In after two years later, Kosei hasn't touched the piano and views the world in monotone, and without any flair or color. He was content at living out his life with his good friends Tsubaki and Watari until, one day, a girl changed everything. Miyazono Kaori is a pretty, free spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her personality. Kaori helps Kosei return to the music world and show that it should be free and mold breaking unlike the structured and rigid style Kosei was used to.

The anime was interesting in every episodes. Even though i was not a fan of classical music, I still watched the anime and also became curious about it. I preferred a more cool, calm, and collected protagonist, but as the anime progresses, I realized that the anime's current protagonist was not bad at all. Until now, Im not particularly sure about the romance beetwen the protagonist and the heroine of the story, since it showed that the heroine was in love with one of the protagonist friend, or so it seemed.

I would really recommend this to all of you since it had really put me in a good time watching the anime, I could say I was addicted to watching it after my sister gave just 1 episode of the anime, I then downloaded the rest of the anime all of my own because my sibling isn't that much of a giver.

Great ending.
Personally wished the show would've been a little more concrete on Kaori's illness since that would've given the whole situation a little more oomph, but that final episode was nonetheless fantastically directed and the visuals were consistently above average for all 22 episodes.
Not flawless, but certainly very good and something to be respected.

She mentioned at one point she had anemia, though I don't think there was any more clarification than that, and that's a shame since it should be medically treatable. My best guess is she purposefully downplayed what she had around Kousei and the anemia was either a symptom of a bigger illness or a downright lie.

the anime was very nice and i really liked it.the only thing that bothers me a bit is kaoris death.it was a little like: is she already dead?...think yeah...ah ok she is dead :/ but the rest was amazing :)

My face showed I felt the true meaning of the last episode but inside I wanted to disappear and cried...it was a amazing show. The music caught me and the story pretty much destroyed my man-barrier.

It's awesome how it made me tear up from both manga and anime versions..

They should create a season 2, with new characters, and Kousei being their music teacher.

The feels man! If you're gonna watch this anime, be prepared for feels. Especially the ending.

Quite a bit of the anime this season have been teary ones... And then there's this one that just ripped my heart out, not once or twice but like a million times, stepped all over it, and then crushed it. But the story line was BEAUTIFUL.

THIS ANIME BROKE ME. It was just so great from start to finish, and there was so many little subtleties about it that really struck me. AND THAT END. I cried. It was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended to fans Angel Beats!, Clannad, and Nagi no Asukara.

I cried so hard in this anime, after i watched this i extremely felt broke... those quotes :< kaori doesn't deserve an ending like that! <//3 Kaori is such a beautiful lie. I'm sooo glad that i watch this series.
