I'm kind of lost in the anime community because i'm into the more latest shows like: Durarara Soul eater black butler FMA
But lately people have been talking about different kinds of shows and references that i don't understand. I know the main one now is attack on titan and the big three: naruto, one piece and bleach which i can't watch all of them.
I want to know all the really popular anime shows that have been popping up recent and major ones that are really important to at least watch because everyone at least heard of it.

Mate, do what I do, don't care about opinions of others, what I mean ? Simple. Even if someone says a certain anime sucks for him it doesn't mean you wouldn't like it.
