Have you ever thought just how much time you spend watching anime? Think of all the shows you've seen, how many episodes they have, and then multiply that by 25 (more for movies).
I'm at about 24,875 hours, and if I had worked during that time I would have made $217,656.25! Time well spent!

Easier way. Make an account on Myanimelist.net, go through their entire database (this will take some time), find that total, and add more if you watched a series/movies more than once. my current total is 235.87 days if I marathon everything I watch. This equals 5660.88 hours. This is without repeats.

I was going to put what I calculated, but then I realised... It didn't take me over 3000 hours to watch Dragon Ball. I think it makes more sense to times it by 0.25, not 25, because if I multiply the 153 episodes of Dragon Ball by 0.25, I get 38.25 hours, which makes a lot more sense. So the actual time I have spent SO FAR, would be: 325 hours 43 minutes... Time well spent. And many more hours will be lost doing exactly what I have been doing, having fun.

My MAL says I've watched about 35.2 days' worth. I don't really watch all that much, but my list might not be complete. Doesn't include rewatches, either.
I'm not sure how OP is actually calculating it, but I always multiplied episode count by 20 minutes since I don't always watch the OP and ED.

Not sure what to say about OP's math, but MAL says 38.8 days, which seems like an alright amount.
It doesn't include things I watched as a kid though. So that would probably be another few days' worth of Dragonball, Digimon, Detective Connan and whatever.

..Yeah now that I think about it. OP's claiming to have watched something like a million and a half minutes of anime, which amounts to like 75,000 episodes (with the 20 minute estimate). If your average long-ass shonen anime clocks in at around 200 episodes (being generous, since there are probably more short ones than long) that's like almost 400 different series.
