Described as an "augmented Science Adventure.....it is the highlighting science fiction anime this winter season.....I really have no idea what other anime are like this. A mixture of adventure, science fiction, slice of life....and mystery, the anime is developed by the creators of Chaos Head and Steins gate....who cannot use a semi-colon correctly....

following the perspective of Kaito Yashio, the apathetic 5th place world player of the Kill-Ballad tablet fighting game, and Akiho Senomiya, the energetic head of the school Robotics club that conists of only her and Kaito....well just her as he just plays the game all day. Together, they decide to finish the giant robot started by her sister and encounter a plan that will destroy the world...fun stuff

It's quite slow for some viewers' expectations but it is indeed promising enough. The animation is fluid for the most part while the robot fights are realistic and action-packed (for two plastic consoled controlled robots).The acting is top notch while the drama that is played draws you into your seats.

Thus the question is utimately asked
..."What would happen if you really tried to make a giant robot?".

Sounds interesting.

The first season was painstakingly dull but I'm really glad I kept with it cause the last few weeks have kept me on the edge of my seat. bump

Yes, I'm planning to rewatch this. I anticipate marathoning it well be a lot better than how I watched it weekly when it was airing.

also anticipating not being able to sleep after the eps with "Kagome Kagome" in them but yeah /o/
