Ah, i love this show. It's not too cliche, and it has the humorous edge to it similar to that of Maid Sama and OHSHC. For anybody interested in Rom-Coms, i would recommend this to you ^-^

Whew, finally caught up with this and finished it.
Really, really, really anticlimactic ending. If there's not a second season planned for this, then shame on the writing/pacing cause the last few episodes were fun, but very poorly executed plotwise.
But yeah, this is pretty much an average run-of-the-mill rom/com show, and some of the pacing was weird, but there were still plenty of hilarious moments scattered throughout this. The character personalities took a while to refine, but when they did, they worked well. Oddly enough, I think my favorite characters of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun were the supporting cast. Natsume was really silly once she got actual development, and Sasayan was the cliched but extremely well-workable chill guy of the show. Yamaken's group was lulsy every time on screen, and Nagoya the Chicken is badass. Shizuku and Haru together felt really awkward, but individually and with everyone else, their actions felt much more smooth and fun to watch.
Good show? Sure. Great show? I suppose for some it could be, yeah. Top of the list fantastic show? Nah.

This is my favourite anime. Admittedly, the ending sort of sucks but I just think it was a pretty good anime. It's not so cliche and full of lovey-dovey stuff... there's other stuff going on as well. my favourite characters are probably natsume and Oshima. <3 I am so happy there's a thread for this...

I Love this.......I already read the Manga ( still waiting for the next chapter ) I like Yamaken too.......but sorry Yamaken...
Shizuku and Haru are perfect for each other......both of them are so Straightforward haha.......and I am rooting for Sasahara and Natsume to be a couple too..........^_^
