How much of a fanboy am I?
I have played every sinlge visual novel and watched every single anime from Key. I have recommended all of them to my friends (okay, more like pestered unendingly) and most of them have agreed with me.
I absolutely love Clannad; I have memorized the Japanese lyrics for all of the opening and endings in the anime, and I have .avi files for every sinlge Clannad episode. I wear a lanyard with a dango on it and have created a mural of the Big Dango Family in the computer lab of my school, which has not been taken down. I also update the Clannad Wiki from time to time.
I have based my writing style off of the nakige format and am even planning a visual novel of my own that is heavily influenced fron Clannad, Air, and Kanon. Whenever I write something, I always make a reference to a Key work somehow.
My previous desktop picture was a scene from Planetarium, and I have made many friends online by simply saying "have you ever watched [insert favorite Key franchise]?"
Oh, and I recently ordered the Clannad Visual Fanbook, even though I can't really read Japanese fully yet. (I'm learning!)
>>7 It depends on whether or not you like the visual novel format. If you are fine with it, then I totally recommend it, as they have a lot of smaller details in it that the animes miss. You get a lot more comedy at the start of most of them, too.
>>3 Ha, you're the first person I know of not to cry. And yeah, Key works seem to have that effect. After I finished the last episode, I could not write for months and simply got into exestential arguments with my friend. It was sad and awesome.
