Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.

I love this anime! I would definitely recommend this one. It is very unique, both in story structure and character introduction/development. It does not have those annoying character formulas that you grow weary of after watching about a dozen anime.

Hmm... I didn't enjoy it as much as some others I've seen. Admittedly I only watched the first 5 episodes, but I found it hard to get into. I just kept hoping for the plot to develop with each new episode, but nothing really changed from one to another. Does it just start off slow and get better or keep to that same formula the whole way through the show?

Hell Girl was one of the very first anime that I watched and I I I liked the series (: It was rather repetitive but somewhere buried in there is an underlining story about Ai Enma.
I just searched it and ~WOW~ I never knew it was made into a website :O I'm glad I found it. Thanks !
