Ok, the summary is a bit boring but I'm pretty sure you'll like this when you see the anime or manga... Kuroko no Basket is a sport manga (obviously) and people say that this show is good as Slam Dunk.
Every Yaoi Fan here... I think you'll like this because I've seen enough fan service in this anime =.=

I thought it was going to suck. I really, truly, and honestly did. As much as I love Basketball, I generally don't like sport animes (aside from this and PoT), so I was putting off watching it. However, I gave up a few days ago, and now I'm finding that this is a really good anime. Definitely reccomend it, even for those of you who generally aren't into sport stories.

Welp, it would be the Understatement of the Year to say that I felt that the series would be iffy. I mean, I tried watching a bunch of sports anime and it never worked out. PoT was... okay. Better than Slam Dunk, at least. FOR ME. So when my friend came along and practically screamed, "WATCH KUROKO NO BASKET!!" for all the school to hear, well...
I seriously enjoyed it. I read the manga first and it totally got my blood pumping AND I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BASKETBALL. I'm a friggin couch potato with zero body coordination skills. Watching the anime was even better.
Mainly, I liked how the mangaka made Kuroko seem so suckish at first and then revealed his awesomeness later on, much to everybody's chagrin. It's a lot different from other sports anime because they usually start of with an already gifted prodigy, and although Kuroko is one in his own way, it's nice to watch him grow and cover all his bases in a way that only he can.
To summarize, I loved it and I want a second season. Definitely. I can't wait to see Aomine face off against *spoiler* Kagami's Animal Instinct+Zone and Kuroko's Vanishing Drive and Misdirection Overflow. Seriously.

I seldom watch sport anime cuz i don't like sports. I haven't got any interests in basketball and even didn't know how many people play in a match before. This anime is cool, I'm excited for the next season. Though, it'll be quite a while... the manga's still dragging on the wintercup semis.

Oh yes, I love this series. I've watched it because my brother recommended it to me and I think the characters are unique because of their so called "funny behaviour". And I absolutely love the KuroBas fandom for their massive amount of crack.
To be honest, despite being a girl and liking non-explicit BL, I don't like how people hint the amount of yaoi in the series. That's too extreme - As a casual shipper, that's simply a no and I think people are just too used to it and that's why they think it that way.
