In the Continent, a tournament called the Queen's Blade is held once every four years to determine the most beautiful and powerful Queen. Held in Gainos, the Queen's Capital, various fighters from all over the Continent travel to the Capital to defeat Aldra, the current Queen. The overall story of Queen's Blade focuses on Leina, the heiress of the esteemed Vance Family and next in line for the throne, as she travels to Gainos, encountering many other warriors also competing in the Queen's Blade for their own intentions.


*It's basically an All Fan-service anime, with lots of nudity.
It's kinda hard to see how the rules of the tournament work, Fighters just encounter each other where ever they meet and an angel broadcasts the battle on giant spheres in the sky. What I don't get though is the progression of the fighters, even if they lose, they can still fight later?
But anyway, it takes place in a medieval-European like setting.

oh, and one more thing, there's a lot of girl/girl kissing and lots and lots of BOOBIES!!!(said in a kid like voice while waving arms in the air)

on a side not, there is a bunny fighter in the first episode that shoots acid out her breasts.... *_* ooookayyyyyyy

all in all, the story doesn't make much sense, but it's mainly a fan-service for guys.....(seriously, acid out tha tits)

oh, one more thing that bothers me, is the whole "Armor" thing where a piece of metal covering only the crotch and breasts is suppose to be "full protection"..... I know, I'm being nit picky, but stuff like that annoys me a bit..... I still like the anime though.
