Does anyone here watch Kimi to Boku?

The story revolves around four teens, the good-looking twins Yuuta and Yuuki Asaba, the effeminate Shun Matsuoka, and the class head Kaname Tsukahara, who have known each other since early childhood. While they are not necessarily good or bad friends, they continue to hang out well into high school.

I only watched the first season, but I also read the manga. It doesn't get updated too often unfortunately.

I know it's that comment, but I enjoy the manga more, even though the adaptation was alright too. Kimi to Boku does some very simple slice of life and I found that kind of refreshing and relaxing:)

It's obviously not for everyone, a lot of people might get bored, since there isn't much of a gimmick to sell this thing, but I like the humor, the poignant moments and the characters. And the going back and forth in time and dealing with more than just the kids' generation is nice. Btw, do Akira and Kouichi get more screen tome in the second season? I remember they were a bit overlooked in the first one.

Oh yeah, by 'it doesn't get updated too often' I mean that the anime is probably way ahead of it, sigh.

I wrote a reply to this for bang-bang's new thread in Comics about the anime and then realized right before posting it that I was in the wrong board, so here I am now.

This was such a laid back show and though it lacked the absurd comedy that made Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou a huge hit, it was so relaxing that I couldn't care less. I find the two titles being clustered together and compared a lot, though I find them to be completely different in both message and atmosphere. Kimi to Boku may bore some, but I really enjoyed it. Both excel in fitting voice acting, but they give off totally different vibes, so that's nice.

I think I will like it since I love slice of life. Only I had been watching those that are mostly about girls, and just recently started to wonder why I have never watched one about boys.

awsome sombody els actialy saw this. hehe it was great, they had such a cool freindship with each other. sigh i wish real life could be like this anime, sadly it is not, how depressing...

a story about friendship. very rare for anime that exist today. anime highly recommend this one! sometimes I was jealous with stories that exist in this anime, one thing I never get in my real world. I hope someday there will be people like this in my life someday. Chizuru, u're so funny♥

I have watched the first season.
I grew up with three younger brothers and we were close. This anime remind me of their rough ways. So funny.

Is this good? Should I watch this? .w.

Anyway, check out the other comments in the thread and make up your mind then. I say if it looks like something you'd enjoy, you definitely should.

The second season is not as good as the first season in my opinion. Not as funny... And seem to focus more on love rather than friendship.

My favourite part from the first season was when Yuki had to draw manga and he turned it into a relay project with his friends. There is nothing that really stand out in the second season I think...
