Which one do you guys like better?
I honestly like Digimon better because the plot in all the different anime are a lot better than Pokemon. But I admit, the Pokemon games are better than the Digimon games.....gameplay wise that is.

In my opinion, Pokemon is nothing compared to Digimon (the anime that is). The only reason people say it's better is because it's a classic, or it's from their childhood. If Digimon had as many fans as Pokemon, it would be a lot better. Other than that, there aren't any other reasons that the Pokemon anime is better than the Digimon.
>>3 The first Digimon series wasn't the only good one. Adventures 02, Tamers, and Frontier were great too. They all have unique storylines and really good character development. It's not like Pokemon where half of the episodes are fillers and the plot isn't that interesting (the movies are good though).

While I loved both when I was little, and I spent a lot more time watching Pokemon and playing the games, I think I appreciate Digimon more. I definately liked the shows and the movie more than any of the Pokemon seasons and movies.

Digimon has my vote completely. All four seasons are different and unique. Season two, you get to see the first season digidestined older. But! Pokemon games are more fun to play.

I personally prefer Digimon. It just had a more realistic feel to it, mainly because the characters had such real personalities and actions and it actually has a fraking story line! With Pokemon it's the same crap every saturday morning. I loved the original Pokemon, but after a while I just looked at the shows and said, "Seriously?" Anyone else have that feeling?

Pokemon has more plot errors, Digimon has more useless well everything...Like seriously first gen digimon was awesome, and then it went downhill from there. First Gen pokemon was Decent, And its all been basically the same with the addition of a few hundred other pokemon and the fact that ash is still 11 kind of bothers me...If i was to pick between the two, Digimon because it held my attention better and never really repeated the same plot over and over again.

Both please. Digimon has a better anime while Pokemon does better with games than it does with anime. Although... Digimon has some amazing games too. I'd definitely say both.

I like both of them but I like Digimon more even though Pokemon used to be my all time fave.To be honest though Pokemon wins in games and movies but Digimon beats them in the shows.Also Digimon taught in the first and second season about Bravery,Frendship,Love,Knowledge,Sincerity,Reliability,Hope,Light and Kindness.Pokemon has Frendship,Trust and Bravery.

Yeah I got to agree with you, I prefer Digimon because theres actually more of a plot than there is with Pokemon. However Pokemon has better games, and the Pokemon creatures are better than the Digimon creatures. But if I had to decide, I would probably go with Digimon yeah

Id say Digimon. Because it actually feels as if the story is going somewhere. Though i love it as much as Digimon, Pokemon is just Ash wandering around. I get thats what the series is about but it could potentially go on with no end in sight. Plus the series lost a lot of value for me when Misty left. Pokeshipping all way!

The Anime and Manga of Digimon r way better than those of Pokemon, mainly because Pokemon just gets worse and worse over the time. As an example: Ash NEVER wins the finals in the Pkmn-League (at least up to Pkmn Diamond an d Pearl, after that I stopped watching the series), which makes almost everything he has done up to that point POINTLESS.

Anime-wise, Digimon easily. At some points the writers of Pokemon seem to not really care with the Unova League being an example. Digimon Tamers, at least to me, is better written than most of Pokemon. Keep in mind I don't hate Pokemon, but we had a terrific League in Sinnoh then the current downer.

Digimon's story is so much better than Pokemon's and I like that the digimon can talk instead of just saying their names. And I think the digimon are just generally stronger than pokemon.
I do like Pokemon's games, though.

I have to say I enjoy Digimon a lot more than Pokemon. After a while, Pokemon does get a bit repetitive. But, Pokemon did have the better games. So, in the end, Digimon had the show while Pokemon had the games.

Obviously my opinion is going to be biast as Ive been an avid Pokemon fan for a long long time so, my choice is still Pokemon. The show does get boring and repetitive but those first couple of seasons and all the movies to date are just radical.
The games are also awesome, very excited for X and Y.
Digimon little pocket battling things were very fun back in the day.
