An unaware teacher is transferred to Seishou Academy, An odd school for guns. Yes, GUNS. All the students (and teachers) are anthropomorphised guns. The elementary schoolers are sub-machine guns, the middle schoolers are assault rifles, the high schoolers are long range rifles, and the teachers are guns that are no longer in use.
It's weird, but enjoyable. It is airing this season, and I was wondering if anyone else is keeping up with it.
Loved the show initially, but my love of it cooled off as time went on. It's okay now, pretty interesting for me even though I don't really know anything about guns.
I'm horribly confused as to how they grow up, though. Or how more of them are made. Fridge Logic is in full effect here, with me.
If they're guns, they can't grow up and graduate. Guns don't change like that. If they're guns, they can't reproduce themselves... can they?
But they're all girls. Does this mean they need male humans to reproduce more little girl guns? How does a human/gun mating ritual work?
What happens if the theoretical kid is a guy? Is that even possible? Can male and female guns mate? How do guns have genders? What would happen if they did?

Yeah, there's not much logic in Upotte. You just have to accept what the show says and go with it. I really don't think this show has much going for it besides the novelty of its concept.
