Bob's Burgers is an American animated television sitcom, which premiered on January 9, 2011 on FOX. The series was created by Loren Bouchard and centers on the Belcher family; Bob and Linda along with their three kids Tina, Gene, and Louise who run a hamburger restaurant. Bouchard said Bob's Burgers came about because FOX's animation brand centers mostly on family, but he also wanted to dabble in workplace comedy. The show is said to fill the void created by the cancellation of King of the Hill.

I was skeptical about this show filling the gap of KOTH (my favorite show ever) but it's truly hilarious. It's hard not to love each character and the silly predicaments they find themselves in. Bob's Burgers is currently the most original show and the highlight of the otherwise Seth McFarland-centered Animation Domination block on FOX imo. The show currently airs on Sunday nights at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.

It only took one time of watching this show for me to become completely obsessed with it. I now watch it religiously, if only it was actually on TV more often than just once a month or so.

I was actually expecting the show to suck at first, but I waatched an episode and was suprised, it wasn't that bad, sure, there are worse animated shows out there, but this wasn't too bad. Gread voice acting, nice animation, interesting characters, hmm... not too shaby!

I forgot to mention this in OP, but one of the main reasons I love Bob's Burgers so much is that for once, the Dad character isn't completely fucking retarded. If anything, he's actually the most grounded in reality of the whole family. As much as I don't mind Peter or Homer in certain amounts, they piss me off sometimes too. Bob is just Bob, and the creators of the show don't purposely go out with the notion that the father has to be stupid at all times to keep the gags going.

I think it's ok. Every time the Dad talks I get reminded of Home Movies

Love this show. I watched the first episode expecting something terrible to make fun of, and was really surprised and pleased when it was so good.

My mom (who works as an elementary school teacher) pointed out that all the corporate lunch food stuff was spot on and rambled about a few of the ridiculous rules that third-parties and even students have to not break just when bringing food to campus. It's pretty bonkers.

I DVR'd the most recent episode, I'm gonna check it out tonight.
