Due to poor grades, Tsukune Aono, an average high school student, has been unable to get accepted into any private academy of his choice. By exceptional accident, the only school to accept him turns out to be anything but ordinary; the school is attended by youkai disguised as humans. Fearing for his life, he attempts to escape only to meet Moka Akashiya, a beautiful girl who just happens to be a vampire. Despite this, Tsukune decides to stay at the academy, hiding his human nature from students and teachers. Tsukune also discovers that when the rosary around Moka's neck is removed, her true nature emerges.

Although this already has a thread, it is all of one post and has the fandom bullshit we try to discourage here. Also, it's a review that spoils the absolute fuck out of an admittedly predictable show, so I don't know where to go with this.

Still, whatever, opinions time. Frankly, the anime sucked massively, being a typical harem-shit anime with a wimpy protag who does fuck-all but get chicks for absolutely no logical reason, pervy moments everywhere, and a plot which is paper-thin. The manga executes every single element in a superior manner (and actually develops a plot that can hold water), and Tsukune actually does stuff that isn't cowering behind said chicks.

tl;dr: Read the manga and ignore the anime unless you just want panty shots, breasts, and mindless fanservice.

I liked this anime alot the only thing that ruined it for me was tsukune himself he stupid and just sad to look at but the dark Moka was pretty cool.

I love Rosario Vampire. Not for the story, mind you, just the humor in the grils fighting with each other. Although, I do witsh they'd cut down on the up-skirtness...

I watched at least a few episodes of Rosasrio + Vampire and I think it's a pretty good series from what I've seen.

The protagonist sucks. So does the ending. But it's still an enjoyable waste of time, if you catch my meaning.
