I am SO surprised i haven't seen a thread of this yet! Official Plot: Fourteen years ago in the floating island of Neo Verona, Leontes Montague and his men led a bloody coup and murdered all of the members of House Capulet, the rulers of Neo Verona. However one survivor, Juliet, was able to escape thanks to a group of Capulet loyalists. Fourteen years later, Leontes, the new Prince of Neo Verona, rules the land with an iron fist and crushes anyone who opposes him. Juliet, now a sixteen year old girl, fights against House Montague's oppression by becoming a masked vigilante known as "The Red Whirlwind". While attending the Rose Ball hosted by the Montagues with a friend, Juliet meets Romeo, Prince Montague's son and both of them fall in love at first sight. Unlike his father, Romeo is a kind and humble man who is opposed to his father's cruelty and shares many ideals with Juliet. Unfortunately for them, Capulet loyalists are planning a rebellion to overthrow House Montague while Leontes is obsessed with destroying the threat of House Capulet permanently. As these star-crossed lovers face many challenges and adventures together which will strengthen their love, an ancient secret hidden within Neo Verona is slowly revealed.
My Review: I love this show so much! its very sweet, cute, and sad. Before i watched it. i thought, "Well, that looks dumb." Now i think, "WHY DIDN'T I WATCH THIS SOONER!?!" When i showed the last episode to a group of people who have never seen the show before, or ever heared of it, they balled at the end. EVERYONE, out of 16 people, WERE CRYING! Both tears of joy and happiness, and saddness. I HIGHLY suggest this show. Please, give it a go. You won't regret it. :D

I loved this series so much. :') I'm a fan of Shakespeare and was excited to see this and hoped that it would live up to being as good as the original. It did not disappoint at all. I loved the story, which did a really cool twist on Shakespeare's. The animation is so beautiful and has a variety of themes like soft and gentle or dark and intense, and more, depending on the scene, its not just one or two. Music is another A+. I have most of the soundtrack on my iPod and some of the songs bring tears to my eyes because they are so moving, especially in some scenes.
I first watched this on OnDemand and was hooked on it... I even payed for the per episode thing because I so badly wanted more of it and then I actually bought the whole series (season one and two not the complete collection) when it just came out, which I never do for any anime. EVER. It was seriously that great of an anime that I just couldn't stop watching it. It will definately make you cry, at the very least bring tears to your eyes. I cry at just about anything I find sad but my best friend is the exact oppisite, she very rarely sheds a tear, but even she cried her eyes out while watching this series, and said that she really liked it. It is definately a must watch if you like romance. And even if you don't it is still a really wonderful series that is worth watching.
(I can really just go on forever about this....lol)
