I was just wondering what all of your favorite dubbed characters are in the wonderful world of anime! Post the anime character and the name of the person who does the english dub for them.
I'll start. I personally thought that Dr. Franken Stein from Soul Eater had a cool english dub. He is voiced by Chuck Huber in the English version and Yuuya Uchida in the Japaneses version.

Well, as corny as it it to post on this particular sight, I thought Shizuo Heiwajima's dub was PERFECT. Low and dangerous with a growl to it. I still crack up when I hear him shouting. Hiruma Yoichi's dub from Eyeshield 21 was pretty good, too.

Johnny Young Bosch was PERFECT for Izaya in Durarara!!. Honestly, I hate dubs, I love listening to the original Japanese voices. Durarara!! has to be the only good dub I've heard, (other decent ones were Ouran High School Host Club and Black Butler)

Well I am a huge fan of dubs and I think Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin was done really well (poor Richard Cansino really hasn't been in too much else). But I agree with Shizuo, he was so great (go Crispen Freemen)! Jason Liebrecht for Hei in Darker than black was really good and Michael Adamthwaithe for No Name in Sword of the Stranger was really good too. There are so many voice actors I like :)

Oh geez...I have a lot of favorites lol. I'd have to say Izaya, Shizuo, and Masaomi from Durarara!!, who were voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, Crispin Freeman, and Bryce Papenbrook, in that order. I also really liked Travis Willingham as Roy Mustang in both versions of the FMA anime and as Ginko in Mushi-Shi. Also, Vic Mignogna and Aaron Dismuke as Ed and Al from FMA (and Vic in Brotherhood, of course). David Kaye as Sesshomaru, from Inuyasha. Kelli Cousins as Kino, in Kino's Journey. Justin Cook, John Burgmeier, Dameon Clark, and Linda Young as Yusuke Urameshi, Kurama, Younger Toguro, and Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho. Brina Palencia and J. Michael Tatum as Holo and Lawrence from Spice and Wolf. Steve Blum as Onizuka from Great Teacher Onizuka and Mugen from Samurai Champloo. David Lodge and Michael Lindsay as Kenpachi Zaraki and Kisuke Urahara from Bleach (I noticed they changed English voice actors for both characters 200+ episodes into the show, which really pisses me off). Paul Dobson as Naraku from Inuyasha and Happosai from Ranma 1/2. Steve Kramer as Mataichi from Requiem from the Darkness. Brandon Potter as Sven Vollfied from Black Cat. Kent Williams as Akisame Koetsuji from Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. Richard Cansino and Richard Epcar as Kenshin Himura and Seijuro Hiko from Rurouni Kenshin.

I mostly like the characters voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch;Ichigo, Lelouch, Izaya, and Hollow Ichigo were my favourite dub characters . I also like the dub voice for Shizuo.

Hei from Darker than Black who is Voiced by Jason Liebrecht. The coolest thing about him is that he gives Hei two voices. One sympatic, warm one when Hei is posing as the clumsy chinese exchange student Lee Shengshun and a deep, raspy voice when he is the Black Reaper, murdering people and doing the dirty work.

I watch sub. Okabe Rintarou changed that for me. Thanks a lot J Michael Tatum you awesome sonovabitch. The voices in Steins Gate were, in my opinion extremely accurate. The actors performances suited perfectly. In episode 14 (I think)when Rintaro was pleading and crying for his friend's life to be spared, even offering his own to save her, was a great example of the brilliant acting displayed. The humour was also tweaked by Tatum (as he was the writer) to suit a Western audience which some may argue is bad, but I believe only made the show better. I'm not saying it was the best dub ever, but Tatum definitely felt natural and did a good job.
