I'd like to note, that this thread is SIGNIFICANTLY better than its prior.
And I hate hetalia, normally I'll make a biased judgement based on the fact that its a duplicate hetalia thread and give it absolutely no credibility, however this one is actually an intelligently written thread... regardless of the fact that its prior has 146 posts, I along with most others here, prefer quality over quantity... I think this should be the new Hetalia thread.

I honestly like this series. I first read the manga, and I prefer the animated series over it. The stuff is really hyper and weird at first, but you get used to it and eventually have a laugh here and there. I liked how they pulled off the five minute episodes, and didn't blab on or try to beef up the plot.
It's not the greatest anime in the world, but for one studying both history and Japanese, it's a quick shortcut for revision.

Not gonna lie; I used to be a die-hard HetaliaHater. However, that was back when my friends obsessed over it. All I heard was, "HETALIA IS GREAT. ENGLAND IS HOT. I LOVE HETALIA. OHEMGEE BELARUS AND PRUSSIA WOULD BE SOO GOOD TOGETHER. THA BAD TOUCH TREEOOO OHEMGEE!!"
And I got tired of it.
Now that I'm not having it shoved down my throat every ten seconds, it's not that bad. I still dislike the lack of plot and seriousness, and it's humor isn't /that/ great, but it's funny enough to keep me amused for a while. And I've always liked the characters, but now I can understand them better having watched it.

How should I put this...
It's slightly offensive, and slightly, (not slightly but awesomely(yes awesomer than you Prussia)) funny.
It has made me crave history and has probably turned me into the loudest person in my history class, but hell, fuck it, I'm a Hetalia fan and no-one can stop me. On a brighter note...

Himapapa once made some alternate designs for the Axis, Allies, and Prussia, they're known as 2p, or, Another Colour.
The fandom gave them personalities and names, and they're usually the exact opposite personality-wise to the normal/original/1p characters
