Code Lyoko is a French animated television series created by Thomas Romain and Tania Palumbo. The series is about Jeremie, Ulrich, Yumi, and Odd, four boarding school students who travel to the virtual world of Lyoko to fight against an evil multi-agent computer program that goes by the name of XANA Who causes mayhem in the real world, With the help of Aelita, a being originally trapped in Lyoko.

Bitchin'. Used to watch this after school, sometimes watched it with the kid I babysat.
I don't know why... But every time I heard the name "Ulrich", I thought to myself, "Are they moaning out OHHH RICCCCKK", but that was when I was younger, and... Yeah.
I'd also sing along to the theme song, as best as I can. Which amounted to "CODE LYOKO YEAH CODE LYOKO YEAH" because I didn't know what the hell was the lyrics. I think. It was a long time ago.
Oh and "On 31 May 2011, production company MoonScoop revealed on Facebook that the show is returning with a fifth season Code Lyoko: Evolution, set to air in 2012. The season will be 26 episodes long and contain a mixture of live-action and CGI."
From Wikipedia. Also from wikipedia is "Code Lyoko has spawned an array of related merchandise, including three videos games, a tie-in book series, figurines, and a new MMORPG in development."
I never knew they were making an MMORPG. I will play that shit.

Yeah, I loved the crap out of this series. I absolutely had to watch it after school, or I would have nothing to talk about at Soccer practice.
I used to sing along with the theme song too. I did it as best as I could, even though I didn't know the lyrics either. I would mumble along with the music till there were words I understood. XD
I'm really happy with the idea of it making a return. I remember back in the day, the series started to get a bit more dark and intense, close to the end of the 4th season as you find out more about XANA.
I remember one episode ended with a cliffhanger that pissed me the hell off. But I didn't even see the episode after it. 0_o

For the longest time, I also didn't get Ulrich's name. I thought they were saying "Oreck" which led me to be quite confused when vacuum commercials came on.
Looking back on it, XANA's dun-dun music thingy was pretty suspenseful.
I should rewatch this at some point.

Code Lyoko Evolution is the long-awaited fifth season of Code Lyoko, and is set for release in 2012. It was announced on the official Code Lyoko Facebook page by Moonscoop that the show will be renewed for 26 episodes, more information was said to be provided at a later date. According to the creators, there is a possibility that the scenes in the Real World will be filmed on location in Boulogne-Billancourt, making the show a live-action series. This is hinted in Codelyoko.fr's season announcement when it was mentioned that " You will see your heroes like you've never seen before" . It was also confirmed that the Lyoko scenes will remain in animation.
The only photographic update for the new season is a poster with the title on it that is currently the main page of Codelyoko.com.
It is unknown at this time if the new season will be a continuation of Season 4 or will be a whole new continuity of the show.(As in if it will be Code Lyoko [Season 5], or Code Lyoko Evolution [Season 1].)
