Nisemonogatari is the sequel to the Bakemonogatari anime, which are part of the light novel Monogatari series(which i hope that will fully become anime).

This time the focus is on Koyomi's sisters, Karen and Tsukihi Araragi.
It is airing weekly at Saturdays(as far as i know, correct me if I'm wrong).

And i am too lazy to describe it all. So here goes a little description i found.

The follow up to Bakemonogatari starts when the man that once fooled Hitagi returns and brings with him the same snake curse that had affected Nadeko. Karen and Tsukihi will try to stop him but...

So this is it, i did not read the light novel, so this is the most descriptive thing i found around the internetz...

Anyway, I loved the hell out of Bakemonogatari, so naturally I loved the first episode... It didn't really introduce much of the story however...instead it acted as more of a bridge between Bakemonogatari and the storyline of Nisemonogatari. I believe that Nisemonogatari is based some time after Bakemonogatari and not immediately after, since all the characters look different and older (And wayyyy hotter) in the previews, especially Suruga~. I haven't delved into too much detail because I didn't want to spoil anything for myself. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. I'll probably end up updating my thoughts about it as it goes on.

I'm expecting great things from this. I was expecting a lot when I heard they were making a sequel, and holy damn did they deliver in that first episode. The banter was just so reminiscent of the original series - the thoughtful commentary, and rapidity at which each line was delivered, without flinching or losing pace; it's the very reason why I loved the first season and they haven't lost it at all.

It really did serve as a bridge if anything, though. Only a vague hint as to what the first arc will be about was presented, through the first scene, the episode name, and his talk with his sister in the beginning. I have a policy not to hypothesize much as I'm watching a show so I don't accidentally "see it coming" to spoil the experience, so I'll just eagerly await the next episode with blind naivety.

So, what did you guys think of episode 2?
I really liked it, it focused a little more on the sisters, but not as much as i wanted... And was a little too much fanservicey, but i can't dislike Nisemonogatari.

Episode 2 was awesome... Sengoku <3 Kanbaru <3

God damnit... I enjoyed the fanservice, but I demand the blu-rays lol...

I like how the show (both, Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari,) slowly gets into the concept, unlike some other animes.

The jokes are hilarious, and I enjoy the conversations between Mayoi and Araragi, the best. Suruga's pervertiness is very amusing, Hitagi's tsundere-ness is pretty funny, Tsubasa hasn't come out yet...Nadeko's attempt to get closer to Araragi is both annoying and cute. :3

I'm excited for the new character that caused most of the problems to the characters. Shinobu-chan is cute as always~!

Nisemonogatari is awesome. :) I'm also looking forward to Kizumonogatari. :)

Thoughts about episode 3?
I loved it because Hitagi(<3), Koyomi going ragey and because they presented the enemy :D

Loving this... but not as much as Bake. Shinobu is awesome though!

Then I finished Nise in one night.

Every monogatari installment ends in a different theme of heartwarming... Really, this series hit Episode 9 and then through everything into full gear. Tsukihi Phoenix was easily one of the most superb chapters I've seen.

So psyched for Kizumonogatari. I wish the light novels would translate faster.

Just finished it... Fucking love Karen... I never thought I'd be so fucking attracted to teethbrushing, but it is now a life goal of mine to have a sexual teethbrushing party at some point.

Tsukihi was great too... I found myself under the impression that I wouldn't like Tsukihi and Karen that much, but man oh man, did they grow on me~ <3 I should really stop getting attracted to so many women in anime... its affecting my performance and interest in other women in reality... :|

Also i forgot how fucking excellent the soundtrack is for this show... fucking loved it.
