are there any xxxhloic fans out there

xxxholic is about this guy watanuki who can see spirits and he walks into this shop and finds this witch called yuko and yuko says he will help him get rid of the spirits if he works forher which he ends up doing then finds out that THIS WOMAN IS TOTALY LOCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she has two kids maru and moro who are cute and this crosses over with tsubasa

Most definitely one of my favorite animes out there. I absolutely loved it haha! Along with Tsubasa, they were really well made and the art along with the story lines made them unique and quite interesting

XXXHolic was one of the first manga I read, and it remains one of my all time favorites!

got so superstitious when i read this... haven't watched the second season onwards, but read the latest chapter in the manga... :)

Actually am I the only one who notices a bit of an overlap between xxxHolic's and Tsubasa's main casts?

Syaoran/Watanuki: Viewpoint character, strong attraction to Sakura/Himawari (There's a much stronger reason for this connection, but it's a pretty big spoiler).

Fai/Yuko: Flirty trickster magician with hidden wisdom and dark secrets, most motherly figure of the four.

Kurogane/Doumeki: Physical, masculine and of few words, both work in a traditional Japanese profession.

Sakura/Himawari: Typical sweet and kind girly-girl, hiding inner tragedy. Driving force for the viewpoint character.

While I'd never suggest they're entirely the same (it's almost impossible to rile Doumeki up, the same can't be said of Kurogane) I do find it something to think about.

Have you actually read the manga for xXxHolic? I don't remember if it covers it in the anime.

Holic deals heavily with strange things about the world. Power of belief, people left over in lingering sentiments, obscure magics, dimensions.

Yuuko is referred to as the dimensional witch for a reason. xXxHolic in particular is a nexus of sorts for a lot of CLAMP's works. It allows Yuuko to peer into, or reference other dimensions that run parallel to their own - In particular, ones which involve alternate existences of people in that story.

xxxHOLIC! my favorite anime/manga ever! I completed the manga actually :> Yuuko's my idol (next to Celty). And I was kinda nostalgic when there was a HOLIC/Tsubasa crossover :))

The ending made me hate CLAMP. THEY KILLED DOUMEKI!
