Anybody watch this anime?
Well, it was actually more of a cartoon than an anime, but I loved it nonetheless.
Heaven sends two fallen angels to Earth and tells them to collect Heaven Coins if they want to avoid falling all the way to Hell. These Heaven Coins can be obtained by defeating peculiar ghosts.
The angels, called Panty and Stocking, find and fight these ghosts based on hints relayed to them by their black, righteous afro-wielding reverend handler, Garterbelt, and they are aided by their trusty Humvee, See Through.
The ghosts are tricky but the two angels have very unusual weapons at their disposal: Panty's panties turn into a gun and Stocking's stockings turn into swords. Witness Panty and Stocking Fly Away Now!
If you watch this cartoon/anime, I should tell you it's a bit vulgar with cursing, but that's just part of the reason I like it.
Pure crack anime, creators must've been on drugs or drunk, but they must've been geniuses at the same time because it's brilliant. :D (WHY WAS THERE NO THREAD FOR THIS? ;_;)

Also, anime and 'cartoons' are the same thing the only difference is where it was drawn... Anime is simply 'Japanese animation'. Western animation is what people refer to as 'Cartoons'. Panty and Stocking was just drawn in a western style, by a Japanese person, making it Japanese animation. Ta da~ anime.

Not gonna lie. This was the first and probably last comedy anime that I'll ever enjoy this much. I laughed so fucking hard.

Panty and stocking was not rushed at any point, ending in particular was 3 15 min segments long, and that was a good arc.
most the episodes are self contained i think people are confusing that with rushing, and the ending was ment to troll the viewers.

My sis and I are so in love with this show. Our relationship is a lot like Panty and Stocking's, so we bonded a lot watching it together.
I highly recommend it, since it's not very long and is a pretty easy watch as long as you don't mind vulgarity and sex.

Acutally, the creators confessed to being drunk when they came up with the idea, and they still went through with it. It was probably the best idea of their lives.
There's a lot of borderline hentai out there, but none push the borders like this does. It's still very very nsfw, but it could still be broadcasted on TV, as long as it's at a suitable timeslot. And the sexual nature seems more for laughs than titilation. Enough to make you cringe, not enough for brain bleach. Enough mind screw to give you a good headache, not enough to make you want to stop watching. I must praise this for it's careful balancing.
