Hei is now in hiding after betraying the Syndicate in the previous season, and has become a depressed drunk taking various jobs from the CIA. While located in Russia, Hei encounters Suou Pavlichenko, a 13 year old Eurasian girl who is a direct copy of her brother Shion Pavlichenko, a contractor from birth, whose ability is to produce an object from nothing; this includes making clones of himself. However, all of Shion's copies differ in one detail to himself, for instance Suou's alternate sex. Hei teaches Suou various methods of fighting and self defense.


Its SOOOOOOOO good but a little short than i would like it but still amazing!!!!!!!

I loved this whole season although it was a little short i still loved it but the only bummer was that hei didnt have his powers through the whole thing.....

At first (before watching it) I was bummed that it was only 12 episodes. I figured it would feel really incomplete. But actually, for the amount of material presented, 12 episodes worked just fine. I was actually hoping they would delve more deeply into stuff like the evolution of contractors and dolls (not just Yin). Although really, the only reason she evolved was because Izanami was inside her; it wasn't really HER evolving. And then you have the whole deus ex PLANET CREATION thing at the end (caps for emphasis, not rage). It just took too different a direction from the first season, without good reason. There was plenty from the first season that could have been built off of in a meaningful way, and the creators just kinda tossed it all by the wayside.

I did really enjoy watching it, but I think they could have done much, much better. =/

I feellike theyrushed the whole season it would havebeen better if they tried to maybe make more episodes.

Holy shit i freakin loved this series. i also agree with everyone that it was a little short but it is an amazing anime

i love this series and wish it was longer and does any one know if its true about them making another season.

I just noticed that there are some pretty awesome tracks on this thing's soundtrack. The only thing I remembered from the anime was the 'untz untz' song because that when all the badass happened.

Anyway, I'm going to forever be sad about what the second season of DTB could have been and what it ended up being. Maybe if they had a whole 24 episode season available more could have been done, but honestly the whole idea of hoboHei was uninspired in the first place.

GOTTA FIND IT IN ENGLISH~ .... I liked Hei better in the 1st season though. T.T He's kind of a jerk in this one. BUT W/E. IT'S STILL HEI. AND IT'S STILL DTB.
