Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he's having a hard time making friends. It doesn't help that his blond hair tends to make people think he's a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she's talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting.
That is how "Rinjinbu", The Neighbours' Club, was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don't have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they'll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?
First of all, this show caught me right off the bat with the art style, being the same style as Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. I really like the concept of a club of unsocial people trying to make friends. Its looking good so far, I like the main character. The main Girls are crazy, so no issues there... I'm looking forward to see what they do with this show, cuz it can go one of two ways, It can bullshit around and become another generic anime, or it can step outside of the box, and do something similar to Hen Zemi. In any case, I'll Keep this thread updated as new things worth mentioning happen.

Bump because this anime is surprisingly a lot more entertaining than I initially gave it credit for.
I've laughed so hard at parts in this, that I had to pause it to catch my breath... Like in episode 2, the whole episode was an animated version of them playing Monster Hunter. It was excellent. And there was a Gundam x Evangelion mech-fight reference, but the scene was narrated in an overtly sexual nature.
Just saying, there are plenty of excellent scenes in this anime that continue catching me off guard. Its up to around 10 or 11 episodes so far, so I'm sure it'll be ending soon. Give it a shot, in my opinion, its worth the time.

Oh my gods there's already a thread on this. :D BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP. SO onto the important stuff.
Sure, this anime has some suggestive themes and the like, but I find it hilarious. I mean, a nun scratching her butt? Hilarious. A shota, (Yukimura, the guy that looks a WHOLE lot like a girl) that wears a maid's outfit while serving people tea? EPIC. A ten-year-old running nude in a garden? Sure, that's weird, but Maria's like, ten, which makes it adorable. Then we have a manipulative psychopath that's tsundere. Evil yet epic. (Lol, I think Yozora's tsundere?) We have a big titted blonde that's really into erotic sex games (Sen needs to learn how to get attached to the opposite sex) and is one of those "Daddy buys me everything." kids. I guess she's tsundere too? But I guess I could bran her as a pretty funny character. And we have a sex-addicted genius that obviously WANTS SEX with the main character. (Which is Hasekawa Koduka, who was mentioned in Mael's other posts.) Sex craved people are funny. As long as they don't try to rape anybody I guess.
And that is why this anime is hilarious and entertaining. I recommend it especially for people who need a seriously good laugh. I wish they could make a dubbed version of this though...

Sixto over emphasized the sexual aspect of this. Sena never played games or truly had friends before, so when she got introduced to the world of Visual Novels and eroges, what she found was an amazingly addictive way to both have fun, and simulate having lots of very close, meaningful connections. Naturally she dragged Kodaka into it.
Hasekawa is pretty awesome, but she's got a mecha fetish. Girl gets excited over drills.
I do love how the two main heroines are technically tsundere. I say technically, because neither of them really deny their feelings, or fit the category - But they tend to dance around the issue.
It fits more with awkward friendship than it does straight out tsundere, which falls in line with the theme of show - Friends. They may be a bit disfunctional, but they've managed to form a strange connection between them all that ends up working. No one is really sure how best to go about it, or how to handle the whole "friends" thing, so misunderstandings occur.

Episode 13 came out recently, it was was BD extra after the main running.
It really reminded me how simple and awesome this series was. No really big grandiose plot to it, no really deep and intricate character connections, just some people feeling out friendship kind of awkwardly.
It's really neat to see how each of them end up having connections with each other in one way or another. Definitely a fun series to pick up and smile through.

tbh Hagani is one of my favourite animes. the ending was okay, but i really enjoyed the series.
