Okay before someone freaks out about how there are two of these I looked at the last one... IT BLOODY SUCKED.. no offence, so here is the good one.
Shaman King is about Yoh Asakura and his life as a shaman born during the time Shaman King Tournament. He and his many friends fight for not just for the Title of "Shaman King" but also the fate of the entire world. To save the world from a non-shaman purge they must defeat Hao Asakura, Yoh's reincarnated ancestor, and his team of shaman. There are many other shaman characters that play certain roles in the fate of the world,or roles in giving you a good chuckle.

You're right, the last one did bloody suck. It even had mael yell at the OP. Thank you for gracing the anime board with this summary and picture of Shaman king. The way it should be.
Anyways, I only watched the dub of Shaman king. It was alright, as far as I remember, since it was like years ago. If I ever have time(never), I'll watch it in subs. Maybe.

I used to watch it as a kid every saturday morning with my dad, that and Spider riders, power rangers digimon, back when children's cartoons were good (That's right people, I don't love adventure time -evil smile- come and get me :P, nah it's okay) bur I digress, it was such a well done show, before all of this censorship crap.

It is really good, the dubbed, which was aired on 4kids when it was good back in early 2000s, could actually get pretty dark for something on kids TV, unlike now with all this censorship, There is actually a part where a shaman gets killed by obliteration, I miss cartoons this good :(

oh shaman king. i do love this show. the multicultural cast was something you don't see all that often. and i believe the anime only ran for 60 episodes, unlike most tournament shows so it doesn't drag on and there is an end in sight. always going to hold a special place in my heart.

Kinda wish they continued it with their kids like Men and Hana, or just continue with them as adults, I also wished the expanded on Morty (or Manta) and Mosuke as Shaman and Guardian, that would have been perfect!

the endings of the anime and the manga are vastly different though. to anyone who has only seen the anime and wants to read flowers, i suggest reading the manga. though since flowers is only one volume as of now, its more of an epilogue. hopefully it will continue into a sequel.
i personally like the manga a lot more, but i'm sure a lot of people feel that way.

The manga was way better
And anime finished before the manga so it didn't follow the original story line
not only that they changed a lot of names
I'm ok if they changed the names of the side characters
But changing the names of the main characters

And the accents made me so angry
Ren is supposed to be CHINESE not ENGLISH
And Anna's personality....
I prefer the manga and the anime should burn
