MOSH2 DOLLAR TACHI...

I got hooked up with this anime so much, and every single Thursday evening I would check the updates on its latest episodes. I love it eventhough its started with a slow-pace intro at the early 10 episodes, but recently it gotten serious there especially regarding the idols (owh Miki)...

The IDOLM@STER is actually a game for those who are new to this. But they made the anime version, and most of the seiyuus here are new and quite the singer (since they sing alot)...kinda like American Idol except they dont judge and eliminate.

But somehow the anime appears not showing any idol activities thad much, most regarding their daily lives. However, I did looked up at their games version and it made me more addicted to them~!!! <3<3Mine: of course SHIJOU TAKANE!!
love her voice,plus she's tall and pretty charming (and hawwtt)... she's a perfect idol

I was going to wait until the series finished before creating a thread about this with a full summary, but whatever. People always get things done before I do.

To those who don't know about the iDOLM@STER series (yes, that IS the official spelling of the title), the games came first. All the games thus far have been Japan-only (so I don't blame you for not knowing about them). Currently there are arcade machines (Japan only), an Xbox 360 exclusive (the original port) iDOLM@STER 2 (Xbox 360 and PS3 - meaning for the first time it can be played outside of Japan due to the PS3 having no region-lock for games), and a DS port, although I am sure there are others.

The main difference between the anime and the games is that the anime is focusing on the entire cast of 765 Pro, rather than a single idol. In order to cram in as much character development as possible and to make the characters more interesting over 24 episodes, several characters have had their traits overblown - for example Yuhiko is terrified of men instead of being shy in general.

Before inevitable comparisons to singing competitions get made, it should be noted that all the girls are working for the same agency and often work in teams for performances, so there will be no eliminations (aside from short-term ones when someone throws a hissy fit and leaves~).

For those entering the series, a quick nitro guide for each of the characters (off the top of my head):
Producer-san: Represents the MC of the games, actually has a voice for this
Haruka Amami: Resident Clutz
Makoto Kikuchi: Delicious reverse trap
Ritsuko Akizuki: Other producer, is an ex-idol
Ami & Mami Futami: Identical twins
Hibiki Ganaha: Animals, animals everywhere
Yukiho Hagwara: Extremely shy girl (man-hater for first few episodes)
Yayoi Takastuki: Resident poorfag
Iori Minase: Annoying rich girl, tsundere towards producer-san
Chihaya Kisaragi: Appears to be clinically depressed, is the coldest and most serious of the girls (expect to hear "Chihaya is suffering" on image boards)
Azusa Kiura: Resident ditz, oldest of the girls
Takane Shijou: Resident mysterious girl
Miki Hoshii: Laziest of the girls, almost always sleeping (until she cuts her hair, but you're not supposed to know that~)
Otonashi Kotori: Clerk/Secretary *coughfailedidolcough*
I would add more info, but I don't want to spoil everything, like why Takane is purposely mysterious, why Chihaya is suffering, what Miki's eventual haircut will symbolise, and so on.

i downloaded the special planes they made in ace combat 6 for this show.

my friend is obsessed with this so i have beat one game for psp. and im now watching the anime. favorite idol: HARUKA!!! favorite song: heart of the marionette (marionette no kokoro) by miki or relations

I'm still watching it and finished Episode 20 so far.
I don't want to spoiler, but Episode 20 = Epicness.

My favorite Idols are: Makoto, Ganaha, Chihaya, Miki and Takane.
They all have more personality than others >:O
But I like Haruka as well, she's nice :3

I am big fan of the anime ^_^ also I like the games even though I've never played them XDXDXD My top 3 faves are Chihaya , Makoto and Takane ^_^

I really like this anime and the musicality of this anime is superb, but can we show them all in the thread picture?
