Fortune Arterial is a 2010 year out anime, and if there isnt any thread about this anime, I decided to make one.

I've just finished watching it today, this 12 episodes long anime. The storyline is kinda slow at the beginning cause its about campus life. However, the special traits about it was there are vampires among the human/students. But there isnt any fighting scene in it like Twilight (just some chase).
My personal impressions about this anime are:
Its really sweet because of the human and vampire forbidden love affair, talk about how the vampire doesnt want to suck the blood out the guy she likes. And there's abit of Fruit Basket's concept there, like the ending (Dont wanna spoil it!) Great line of characters, and memorable highschool life. Then, funny how the heroine here got the best of my attention (this doesnt happen to me normally cause am not a fan of tsundere), then the hero's character: the willing-sacrifice-anything+Touma-like guy :D). Really hope they'll make a season two for this since the manga is still ongoing. Those who havent watch this one, am greatly recommend it to you.

I actually thought about picking this up when it came out, but decided to just skip it entirely. Normally I don't get into the slice of life series (other than toradora), so when I heard the concept of "high school vampires!" Suddenly I lost interest.
Still... I suppose it might be worth picking up. Even the concept of "I don't wanna suck his blood" feels tried and old, though. Are there any fresh concepts I might enjoy if I picked it up?
Is the story/relations particularly moving emotionally?

I got bored halfway through the series. I was like "might have some cool things" but it never did. It stuck to the high school aspect too thick. And one such episode bored me, so I dropped it. I wonder if it got better. But it's a 12-13 episode anime, so I doubt it.

Back when this was announced, I had really high hopes for it. I had done some research on it, and found it was based on a great visual novel (of the same name (which still hasn't been fully translated)).
Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The plot development was average and the characters didn't get much development either.
There were opportunities where the anime could have redeemed itself, but they were not taken advantage of.
But there was the occasional good moment; it had some alright messages and some scenes were decent.
In all, it was average at best. Watch it if you really want to, but don't expect anything great.
(But the vn is apparently awesome)
