All i saw in the previous threads was one asking about the second season. Tis a shame.

This is the story of Touma Kamijou, a student in Academy City, which is a city of scientifically advanced superhuman students. He is not an exceptional student, in fact on the ranking system of the espers, which goes from 0 being the worst to 5 being the best, he is ranked 0. However he has a unique power, his arm can dispel any esper or magic ability it comes in contact with, unfortunately it also dispels his own luck. One day he finds a young girl hanging on his balcony railing. She turns out to be a nun from the Church of England named Index, and her mind has been implanted with the 103,000 grimoires, all the forbidden magical texts the Church has removed from circulation. Thus beginning the wild and wacky adventures of Touma and Index.

So, this is the most recent show I have watched and I'll be honest, I've been recommended to watch this MANY times before, however I tend to shy away from 'Magical School' themed shows. So I avoided it for the longest time. That was my mistake... For that is not the case here. This show is awesome, in every sense of the word. I misjudged this so hard, the fight scenes are epic, the characters are cool and fun to watch, the story is enticing to say the least, and the art style is among my favorites. I feel as if i had been deceived by the descriptions I have read of it. Hopefully you guys check it out, and don't make the same mistake I did. Lemme know what ya think. :)

This is one of the most epic animes and is a must watch great story and action in it

I really liked the first season, but it got a bit repetitive. I really should download the second season at some point, I've heard that the shows really picks up about half way through.

Isn't today the theatrical release of the "To aru majutsu no Raildex" movie?

Good show. I prefered this one over To Aru Kugaku No Railgun but overall they were both enjoyable to watch
