I read the manga "Deadman Wonderland" awhile back,loved it, and was pleased to hear that it had been made into an anime. Illustrated by the same artist that did Eureka 7, This anime makes for an excellent mix of strange combat, strange characters, and even stranger plot twists...every five seconds... Definitely something everyone should check out!

Well, in any case. This show was pretty sick! I've only seen a few eps so far, but the action is pretty boss and the concept of the prison of entertainment is cool too. Its definitely worth a watch.

and even with that..... The Dub of the first episode was almost as good as original! It is my favorite short anime by far also! But at least the dub is showing us that the English actors are like finally getting better xD! The only thing I have left to say about this is...... I WANT MORE!

Just finished the subbed version in anticipation for the dub on Toonami, (which I missed last Saturday, darn you odd sleeping habits) and I have to say I'm a bit annoyed at Ganta's choice at the end. I don't want to spoil anything, but I feel like the end just tried too hard to be climactic, since the show was that perfect level of intense all the way through and moved at a decent enough pace.

Does anyone know if there will legitimately be a second season to this? I know people ask shit like that a lot, but this isn't just for fanboyism, the show just felt so unresolved. Is the manga better for explaining the end and is it drastically different from the show to the point that I'd have to read the whole thing again?
I need a good conclusion to this...

Good anime. In a way I find it similar to Mirai Nikki because of the gore also and because of how they are part of a twisted game in which they are fighting to survive.

I'm also not particularly fond of Ganta's voice in the dub, but the dude's shoved in a prison going through traumatic moment after traumatic moment. The voice is shaky and at times, really childish, though I think it reinforcing the fact that he's younger than a large amount of the prisoners there. Certainly not who I would've picked, though I can live with it for 12 episodes.

What sucks is how close this series is to ending for the English Dub.

But I'm pretty sure a second series may come of it, if ratings and sells for the US (as well as other countries) were to raise. Which is very possible if the US dub is welly received. Which is has been thus far.

A lot of stuff gets better sells if a large portion elsewhere begins to like something. So if the Japanese sells sucked, it might get better.

I don't think it is too much of a horror, just bloody. Though it is a little different from the manga, so don't know if they would make another season. A girl that plays a big role in the next part wasn't in the anime, but the manga. The story is revolves around Ganta thinking the prison is messed up and tries to do something about it, in the anime that is.
