I'm kinda sad nobody posted a thread about this show lol...
This is a story about a high school boy named Kousaka Junpei, who is deathly allergic to cats. And unfortunately for him, his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who ~adores~ cats. One fateful day while walking home, he sees a can on the ground in front of the local shrine, he aims and kicks the can at a nearby trash can, only to miss and simultaneously beheading the neko-jizou statue (the guardian deity of the town). Soon after he began to be able to understand cats, and eventually finds out that the jizou has cursed him. Now in a race against time he must assist 100 cats with their plights before he himself turns into a cat and dies from his own allergy.
Nyan Koi... oh man, I loved this show so much. The characters, the story, the humor, everything was wonderful. Even the cats are hilarious, in fact my favorite character from this show might in fact be Tama (one of the many cats in this show). This is another one of my favorite comedies that I felt I should share. :)

Actually... I seriously doubt they'll do a season 2, it upsets me, but I think they've confirmed that they won't.
Which makes me mad, because of that god damn open end lol...
