Who else is following this? I don't even know where to start with this series - It was made by the same people who did Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou if that gives you any idea.
First Episode: Main character seems like laid back guy who, unlike many shows that have ecchi as a factor, is perfectly competent.
Except competent doesn't seem to fully cover this guy because he later uses the power of his own hardcoreness to rip a hole in reality and summon Yagyuu fucking Jyubei out from god only knows where. This is AFTER he intimidates a squadron of ninjas led by Hattori "Ninja-maid" Hanzo and gives a CMoA speech about "The difference between you and me."
The title led me to believe it would be another generic series, but the art is rather interesting - I feel you'll either love it or hate, I personally am growing addicted to it. Either way, it's very well drawn and the voices/character designs feel good. I'm curious about the combination of.. Samurai culture, school council presence, shogunate, stun grenades, magic lightning chains and... Why do they have scouters?
Definitely keeping an eye on this now.

Yeah I'm liking it so far, Daimaou was okay and I do love main characters who can rip a whole in the space/time continuum if they so damn please.

Episode 2 doesn't disappoint - Yagyuu Jyubei stepped on air.
Sure, in this age of anime, things like flying and physics-defying acts are par for the course, but I have never seen the act of stepping on air made so awesome. Then using the air like a thrice damned wall and running vertically in a horizontal semi-circle around the maid in mid-air and going bare-fisted against a sword directly after that?

I'm following it. Not sure how to feel about it though.
I may end up dropping it just until it gets released on DVD (aka uncensored), since at this point there's not much other point to watch it.

I actually think it's an actually pretty good anime and, I already saw the second season which the last episode, I disliked do to the fact that I felt as if they rushed it.
