There's this site called "rinmaru games" and since we talk about visual novels I thought I'd share it. It consists mainly of avatar/manga creator games, however there are few visual novels (free) that are actually very well made. Rin, the creator of the site, is currently working on the creation of more chapters for some of her latest visual novels, like oathbreaker and noctis umbra. "Ascension" is one of her completed ones and I can say that despite its short duration and free availability, it was really worth playing. Feel free to check it out! ^^

CloudNovel is another great site for free (non-pirated) VNs. The community has pretty high standards for art quality, and the games tend to be short (mostly game jam length, with a handful of longer titles).

I actually know of it, I'm even part of the discord server xD But I haven't really tried any of the vn's there, neither have I attempted creating my own. I'll look further into it soon.
