Most of them are not translated to English so you either have to learn Japanese or you are limited to reading only the translated ones.

Now, where you can get them? Oh that's easy, torrents are the best way to get visual novels but there are also many other ways like /jp/'s FTP (user:Anonymous pass:/jp/)

I think that in the localization projects section you should add Mirror Moon (http://mirrormoon.org/)(haven't worked out how to properly place links yet, sorry) for everything done by Type Moon. Yes, they have almost done everything there is, but they still have a couple of projects left.

Make sure to add the usual "check all threads before starting a new one" message just to be sure.

Maybe we should add guidelines regarding if you start a thread about a specific visual novel whether you add a link to a clean version that can be downloaded or torrented (+ patch where applicable). It may appear to be common sense, but that didn't occur with me below (not that I posted dirty links, mind you).

Also, just as an afterthought, maybe we could set up a system where if a visual novel can not be found, we start our own torrent for a short time? That would require procedures and rules though, as well as a lot of organization, so it probably won't fly, but it's still an idea.
