I've been an on and off active "member" of this site for a number of years. When I discovered this site it really opened my eyes to see a random group of people on the internet trying to better the world around them. Whether it be through small stuff like helping random people in their daily lives or doing community service and the likes. But, and it's a big one that I know has been tossed around on threads by numerous people for numerous reasons. It would be amazing to see this site become an actual force for good in the world on that could help people around the globe. Now I know that this a pipedream to trump all pipe dreams to hope that site influenced by an anime could actually have an effect on the world today. But I mean crazier things have happened. Just look at whose in the White House. Political jokes aside I think this has real potential, now more than ever this anonymous collective of people who want to see the world around them and the world as whole become a place of kindness and caring could actually make a significant difference. I know the user count isn't accurate but even imagine what a group like this could if all the members join forces. Just a thought.

I see your point. But I think, Dollars have always been a group of "ordinary people". So our good deeds are that of a normal person and we don't have to brag about it. So its better if we just spread the word of the Dollars. Use this site and others to expand our members, ideas and missions. And together, as citizens of the world, we can make the world a better place.

RELTAIR FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

It's gained a decent number of members over the years, but for site to really shine it needs to be popular in a specific area. That was easy in the anime because Japan is a somewhat small country with its own language, and the idea of color gangs was popular in Tokyo. Of course, in real life it probably would've been harder, but nowhere near as difficult as making the dollars in the english language and relying on the anime's international fanbase to gain popularity. The best way to make the dollars awesome that I think is kind of an underrated method would be to turn it into somewhat of an urban legend or mysterious organization in a city, somewhat like the anime. Basically, just find a mysteriously intriguing method of recruiting multiple members at once in a single area. I was thinking of making my own thread for that actually.
