Hey should we change our password and just post the new one or have everyone get sent an email of the new one? Because our current one is released in places like yahoo now and it kinda defeats the enclosed community idea.

Man, you are not the first one to ask this question, and definitely, you won't be the last either.

The password of this site it's more for aesthetic than for any other thing, because if you go to main directly (or any other board or thread) the bbs doesn't ask for the password.

Apart from that, this is an open website, so it would be pointless if we put a password to enter, and not everyone have their mail on the mail list (I haven't done it for example) so not everyone would knew the password.

And two last questions:
Where did you find the password of this bbs?
How much time do you think the new password would remain secret?
