I was really amazed when I joined yesterday to have the password to be able to pass the main page but, during the day and even this morning, I just realised that you just have to add /main in your url to join the site without having to enter the password, or even worste when you google the site you have the link to join hte pasword page and just below your have the links to the other pages (which doesn't require going through the first one).

Is it something that's wanted ?

Yes, there is nothing really special about the login screen or the password. It's just there purely for mere aesthetics to mimic the Dollars website in the series. No more, no less.
