I don't know if this was already brought up before but how about incorporating a search engine into the website to make it easier finding threads or users for example.

Hm... that doesn't seem like a bad idea actually.

I agree, it could help minimize the clutter with threads.

Go to the board a thread is in > click View All Threads to your right > Use the keyboard combo of the Ctrl key and F key > start typing the thread title, or the username of the thread creator - you do not have to be exact, key words can find the thread you're looking for
