Several links to some of the more important documentation are dead. I've spent some time lurking a few of the intro-threads that link to other threads, and I kept getting 404s.

I figured I point this out, and post here as there was little chance this would be seen unless posted on main, and people are already clog it up with dumb crap as it is.

You're the one who brought this up so...yes...it is your job if your intention was to help tidy up the site.

Even giving something like the title of the thread(s) you're speaking of would help...

Go to the About page, follow the helpful link, and follow those links.

I agree, those links need to be updated. They link to old versions of the threads that have since been deleted. For your example, those links had information that was all compiled into one thread, but that FAQ link wasn't updated. When all those threads were (rightfully) deleted, the FAQ link still pointed to them.

The issue is no one wants to spend all the time figuring out which links are dead and what needs to be remade. The Admin (the only developer, I'm fairly sure) doesn't seem to have time.

In principle, you are right, these should be updated regularly. In practice, the back-end team is comprised of 1 person plus mods, so no one seems to have any time.

i think its because you cant edit a post after you make it and no one wants to make a new FAQ because the current one is still good for the time being
