This new suggestion I have is about keeping the Main board and not locking it up like my one post suggests, but instead when you log in it redirects you to a board labeled as Announcements, where it only allows for topics to be made by the admin and mods, and while we don't know who the mods are they could just change their name to something like "mod" so that we don't get a clear name.

Then, we can still comment on topics but not create them, and a system in place just for that board that makes it where topics do NOT get bumped by regular members when they post, as it's set by default to "sage", but an unsage button in on it, same as sage, that requires an admin/mod only password that bumps up topics when they post.

This way important topics will be on there, but also site worthy news. This should make it more organized, and then the main board will be like it is, with the regular sub-boards.
