I think that we should have a direct link to the FAQ instead of having it hidden in the about page. It should be on the sidebar or on the top with the other tabs. Many people seem to skip over it, and often ask questions that are answered in the FAQ. Does anyone else think so? If so, we should message Reltair, if possible.

We can't do stickies right now, so up at the top is not going to happen.

The issue is the FAQ changes every iteration (when the thread fills up) so the link has to be updated and the only one that can do that is Reltair. But, at the same time, the current bump it when you can doesn't really work that well as you said.

I don't really have a good solution in mind.

I think having the FAQ and other threads for new people guide should be placed at top with the other words, so that it can be its separate page, and we can stop bumping and just direct the morons to that page with the spefic guide.

Reltair can just copy & paste the guides onto the new page, or make it like a link thing, or something. Of course we will have the threads for the guides and all, for talking and dicussing whatever that people still don't understand.
