I've been thinking for awhile that we need a search and a little more organization in the subback thread listings.
So, I did a little searching and came across a really cool jQuery plugin. Now, I know what you might be thinking. The BBS isn't currently depending on any JavaScript libraries, and it might be a little heavy to add one. I don't think so at all. In fact, by adding jQuery, other javascript related additions will be much easier. The DataTables jQuery plugin is only 78KB, roughly the file size of a thread thumbnail.
Anyway, about the plugin. It contains a row amount view selection, pages for rows, search, and many other possible additions that aren't on the base.
I feel like this mofo jQuery plugin could be really useful, and modified to suit a lot of BBS needs. Leave a reply with feedback on this 'dea.
