I was wondering if we could add a new board, something along the lines of "food for thought"
I know that this kind of thing could go in random but... Well it doesn't quite fit there either. This would be a place for debates, questions, etc....
Just in general things to think about.
Oh also! I made a post about Myers Briggs types but it was removed... I saw it got replies but I have no way to tell what they were and I'm rather curious. Was this because it was under random or because of the replies to it? Either way I found it odd.

Debates, discussions and such would go on Main. If the scope of the topic wasn't as wide, it would go in Random. I think. Honestly, it's getting hard to tell when mods don't actually inform anyone why they are closing a thread. Sometimes it's easy to tell, sometimes it's really not.
I think this idea of Food for Thought would work as a single thread in Random. I can't see a great deal of traffic for this idea, which would be needed for a new board. We don't create new boards to create demand, we create them in response to demand. I guess if thousands of people reply to this thread requesting the same thing, we could do it, but right now I don't see that happening.

What could be tried is to start this idea in Random. Make several posts whose topics would be related to what you call "food for thought" and see the overall member response and reaction.
If the results are good, with lots of members replying and participating, it could be converted into a new tab. But for the time being, try that out and see.
