Username thread search (4)

I love my username, and don't plan on using anything else, but I do like the fact you can post under whatever you feel like at the time. I was wondering if it's possible to setup a search that would display the threads that a username has participated in. I haven't seen anything like this on the website but if it already exists I'll just remove this thread.

Theoretically? Yes. But it would be more of a pain than what it's worth to implement with the site as-is. Because (as far as I'm aware) the site doesn't use databases(etc) the way, say, a forum might, the search would have to go through every single thread page individually and search for the username in question. It could be done, but it would be slow and just eat up resources.

I would suggest just making a folder in your bookmarks and saving links to all the threads you like in there.

You could also just check the site on a regular basis. Aside from Main (and its sub-boards), Personal, and Random, most of the boards move pretty slowly. You could probably come back a week later and still find all the threads you commented on in the top 25.

You can also press ctrl F which would bring up search bar for whatever you would like. it would go through the threads that havent been expanded but if they are the OP that would certainly help.
