Same response I have for all board-suggestion threads.
Is there really a high demand for it? Is it worth the trouble of making an entire category for it, when people can discuss it within one thread? Arguably, there not being a board for it might be a reason for the lack of discussion, but I kind of doubt you could make that many topics about pets and animals that can't be done in single threads in other boards.

There's already a thread for it, but it's called Tsuki
(Just incase you didn't find it.)
The name and the title got switched, so if you want to post something on pets, you can go to random, view all threads, CTRL + F and type "Tsuki"
