This album isn't overhyped one bit. It made me feel every human emotion at once. Love, Joy, Whimsey, Dread, Anger Suffering. ALL OF IT. Alot of people have drawn connections to the singer falling in love with Anne Frank after reading her diary, and with his dead brother, but as time's gone on, he's started to say the album means "whatever you want it to mean". And I don't think that's just him trying to shift the question away. I genuinely think that this album is all-encompassing. Any situation I'm in in life I can listen to this and feel the connection. Every song I listen to I get an overwhelming flood of emotions. The lyrics make 0 sense half the time, yet it feel so natural. Especially when listening to the Two-Headed boy songs, I feel like the singer is signing TO ME, and when I hear Holland 1945 I feel like he's expressing emotions I've never been able to express with words before. This is a masterpiece. I urge all dollars to listen to this album.
