hey I want to get into music production but I ain't really got $100 to $200 to fork over right now lool so i was wondering if any of yall know how I could get FL studio for free, or at least a demo version that would let me save what I work on. thanks

Start with LMMS to see if it is your thing. It's UI is a lot like FL, but the program is completely free, legal to use and you can download many VST plugins (many don't cost anything) to gain a better , more versatile sound. If you do that there isn't that much of a difference between those programs. Save your money for now and get a piano keyboard for your Pc to play chords and melodies on it since it is a lot harder to produce stuff with your mouse and it doesn’t feel right very often. If you are serious about it you'll have to learn some music theory as well.
