So, apparently there is a very huge movement out in England for a strange new type of music, Electroswing. It's very weird almost like pre-depression era Big Band music with a bit of modernimity mixed in. I really like it personally and would like to hear some other opinions on it!

If done well, the genre is fine - it all just starts to sound a bit same-y to me (not unlike post-rock/math-rock, for me)

Also, it isn't that 'strange' (it's just recontextualized old-school dance music with modern dance music production features and flavor) or that 'new' (like mid-to-late 90's old, a la 'Get a Move On.')

It's pretty much just 1920's music except remixed.
