I wanted to know if any of y'all knew good, free music maker apps that would work good on a windows laptop. I wanted to get into making things like remixes or techno, probs softer sounding things, and so much stuff isn't legit on the store.

It's finding one for free that makes it difficult. I don't know which ones you are aware of, but there are countless name brand music editing softwares at varying prices. If you're serious, you gotta do some research first.

Use LMMS. it's really good its like a basic free version of FL studio.
If you're into producing beats then check out "Hydrogen Drum Machine"
you may have to download some instruments if you don't like the ones on it. :)
