I have to say i agree with everything this guy is stating in his song. Being that kid whom always manages to understand the "useless" crap in school has made me quite distant from the rest of my classmates. However, even if I have the opportunity of attending a Ivy League school i still believe that everything I,ve learned in school has had no practical application in real world events.

Go check it out and see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xe6nLVXEC0

And will you learn more out of school ?

And what you learn at school are the basis for college education. Also, education allows us not to be be enslaved by other. For exemple, in the 19th century Furcy's learning enabled him to sue his master and recover his liberty, whereas nowadays the absence of education in the middle east is one of the cause of ISIS.

And what he accordingly didn't learned was presented at school, directly or not. That's a shame he didn't listen to the teacher (excepted whom to vote to, that can't be taught at school).

And thanks to my learning foreign languages, I can reply to you.

Because unlike what he says learning languages is something useful more than painful.
But you little Anglo-saxons wouldn't bother doing that, the world has to adapt to you. You always complain when we're making English mistakes, but you never try to write in German or French.

And didn't the teacher taught you how to write, so as you can post that kind of comment here ?

Unlike these guys, I understand what you mean. Yeah, English and other languages are good, and without history, we'd just end up killing off the whole human race. But what about Algebra and trigonometry and stuff like that? Where is that applicable except in jobs where you need specifically that? If someone wants to learn that stuff, good for them, but you don't need to force everyone else to learn it.

What you learn in Algebra and trigonometry before the specialized courses are just the very basis.

You need to taste all the waters before choosing a future.

Also, one of the goal of school is to give a ground formation in every field, so that people are not fully dumb.
